LED lighting demand is increasing in India

LED lighting products exported quarterly data released by CSA Research shows that recent two years, China’s LED lighting products export situation is climbing, while exports to the BRIC countries maintain high-speed growth, in 2013 the export value of LED lighting products throughout the year about 5.5 billion dollars, of which exports $ 390 million BRIC countries, while the first half of 2014 the export value of about LED lighting products 4.35 billion U.S. dollars, of which exports about $ 440 million BRIC countries, an increase of up to 350%.

LED lighting demand is increasing in India

With the Indian government to promote the application of LED products to encourage implementation of the plan, India has a huge market space. CSA Research data show that in 2013 the annual export of LED lighting products exports to India amounted to $ 057 million, while exports amounted to the first half of 2014 of approximately $ 049 million, an increase of up to 260%, while the Indian market in China LED lighting products export BRIC countries market share second only to Russia, accounting for about 12%.

Meanwhile, the analysis of CSA Research on exports to India LED lighting product types showed that India’s exports a wide range of LED lighting products, the distribution of concentration, the first half of 2014, did not indicate the type of product is removed, the exports of India is the largest product type LED light strip, the export value accounted for about 32 percent, followed by bulb, accounting for about 20%, flat lights, tube lights, down lights and spotlights were accounted for more than 5%.

With the further implementation of the rapid development of the industry and the world of incandescent embargo, China’s LED lighting products export situation climbing. BRIC countries and other emerging markets to accelerate into LED lighting, including the densely populated India, the Indian poor infrastructure, low level of urbanization, the lighting electricity accounts for about 20% of the national electricity consumption; while its Indian manufacturing level is not high, nearly 80 percent of the lighting products have great lighting market demand from China and India. Moreover, at present, the Indian government is planning to encourage the promotion and application of LED products.
