With the global warming, energy saving and emission reduction has become the world focus on promoting a national acts, up to the using of energy-saving materials such as led marine lighting in production and construction process, down to promote cycling, and prohibiting the use of incandescent lamps, promotion of energy-saving lamps are also one of the acts.
European Union
The European Commission in 2009 passed a low, set to eliminate to use incandescent lamps and other high energy-consuming lighting, led high bay equipment from market to household, industrial sectors and public places.
According to this ban of EU, starting from September 1, 2009, frosted bulb and over 100w traditional bulbs can not be listed on the market. But the inventory in store’s can also sell. Beginning from September 1, 2010, over 75w bulbs need to die out from traditional market. and from September 1, 2022, over 60W traditional bulbs need to die out. From September 1, 2012, the traditional bulbs need to die out market completely.
China
In November 4, 2011, the national development and Reform Commission, Ministry of Commerce, the General Administration of customs, the State Administration for Industry and commerce, and state quality inspection administration departments jointly published a roadmap to chase out incandescent lamp within five years, and they announced that from October 1, 2012, according to the power of lamps of led marine lighting, constantly ban the import and export saling of ordinary incandescent lighting.
The United States of America
The energy independence and Security Act regulate to phase out 40w,60w,75w and 100w bulbs from Jan, 2012 to Jan. 2014. To using LED Bulbs and led marine lighting to replace, most of incandescent bulbs will be prohibited to sale on the market.
