Chongqing Yongchuan District People's Square Landscape Lights Upgraded

Since the landscape lights in the People’s Square have been used for more than 10 years, the lamps are aging and damaged, and the lights are dim, which affects the leisure and exercise of the surrounding citizens at night, and there are certain safety hazards. The Yongchuan District Municipal Facilities Office adheres to the service concept of “no small matter for people’s livelihood”, and regards the needs and expectations of the citizens for street lighting as the focus of its work. Through the preliminary on-site survey and demand survey, it has formulated a street light upgrade and renovation plan in the spirit of strict economy, that is, the original landscape lamp poles in the inner circle of the square are retained, and only new landscape lamps are replaced to make the street light illumination brighter and more uniform.

On May 12, after several weeks of renovation work, the replacement of the landscape lights in the People’s Square was completed. A total of 22 landscape lights in the inner circle of the People’s Square and 24 landscape lights in the outer circle were replaced, and the lighting environment of the square has been significantly improved. Citizens in the surrounding area said that the current lighting is bright and not dazzling, making it more comfortable for leisure activities at night.
