On December 2, the highly anticipated construction of Chengping Expressway in Hebei Province was successful again. The lighting fixtures of Daweitang No. 1 Tunnel of Chengping Expressway in Xinglong County, Chengde City, undertaken by the JD2 Project Department of the Chengping Section of the First Ring Expressway, were successfully lit up, and the project construction progress bar was refreshed again.
The Daweitang No. 1 Tunnel of Chengping Expressway is 1,742 meters long and is a key node project of Chengping Expressway. Faced with the challenges of large mechanical and electrical engineering, tight time and heavy tasks, all employees of JD2 Project of Chengping Expressway worked hard and fired at full power. Since November, the project team has scientifically planned and carefully organized, efficiently allocated construction resources, and optimized construction arrangements by keeping a close eye on nodes and reversing construction schedules. After overcoming numerous difficulties such as the damp and cold tunnel, cross-construction, and high-altitude operations, and after unremitting efforts, it took 18 days to successfully complete key node tasks such as the installation of lighting fixtures and the first power-on of the Daweitang No. 1 Tunnel, marking a more solid step towards the completion and opening of Chengping Expressway to traffic.
