In order to further promote road traffic safety management and traffic congestion relief and smooth traffic, effectively prevent traffic accidents on zebra crossings at night and in bad weather, and fully protect the safety of people’s lives and property, recently, under the strategic deployment and promotion of the “Smart Traffic” strategy of the Traffic Police Detachment of the Leshan Municipal Public Security Bureau, the High-tech Zone Brigade of the Traffic Police Detachment of the Leshan Municipal Public Security Bureau took the initiative to act, and on the basis of in-depth research, actively sought strong support from the High-tech Zone Management Committee, and installed two sets of “smart zebra crossings” at the crosswalk at the Dadu River Bridge intersection in the High-tech Zone of Lesha Avenue.

Whenever pedestrians and vehicles pass by at night or in rainy and foggy weather, the smart light strips on these two “smart zebra crossings” will automatically flash and glow at the set frequency, reminding passing vehicles to stop and give way to pedestrians in time, and reminding pedestrians to pass safely and orderly, adding a beautiful “scenery” to the already beautiful city.

The two sets of “smart zebra crossings” at the intersection of Dadu River Bridge in the High-tech Zone are the two new “smart zebra crossings” in the main urban area of ??Leshan City after the “smart zebra crossing” at the intersection of Shanlong Road and Juxinyuan Road in Leshan Giant Buddha Scenic Area. Through technological empowerment, they will play an effective role in protecting traffic safety at intersections.
