2014 Guangzhou Lighting Fair ushered in five group exhibitions

2014 ushered in five exhibition group exhibition, the latest developments in lighting technology to bring the world’s major producer of lighting and LED:

· Japan Pavilion – debut this year, by the Japanese lighting industry will (JLMA) and the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) representative office in Guangzhou organization, showing the increasing importance attached to local energy-saving technologies. 2014 Guangzhou Lighting Fair ushered in five group exhibitions

· Korean Pavilion – by the Korea LED Association and received the organization (KOTRA) to support large South Korean Trade-Investment Promotion Agency, Guangzhou offices. Pavilion brings together 10 exhibitors, bringing Korea’s most cutting-edge LED lighting technology, signs, light boxes, modules, drivers, chips, radiators and other products and solutions.

· Hong Kong Pavilion – “Hong Kong high-quality LED” as its theme, aims to promote Hong Kong’s LED industry advantage. Pavilions by the Hong Kong Electronic Industries Association organizations, including eight exhibitors, through exhibits showcase and a series of seminars to explain the LED lighting technology, industry certification and product specifications and other expertise.

· Taiwan Pavilion – by the Taiwan Lighting Fixture Export Association Organization Taiwan Pavilion, brought together more than 40 exhibitors, and once again become the largest Guangzhou Exhibition Pavilion. This year’s exhibitors covering many aspects of business, including traditional and decorative lighting products, LED lighting and light, drivers, and electronic components.

· U.S. Pavilion – this year is “innovation” and “sustainable” as the focus pavilions organization by the United States Department of Commerce Consulate General in Guangzhou, the fifth exhibition to showcase the latest LED technology and a variety of American energy efficient lighting solutions.

The M10 DOB LED downlight is proving to be a revelation in the fast moving world of downlighting technology. Containing the all new DOB (driver-on-board) which is a PCB (printed circuit board) style, capacitor free LED driver that is attached directly onto the circuit board. This feature presents many advantages when compared to other downlights, the main one being that there is no separate LED driver, often the weakest and least reliable component of an LED downlight.

Although this technology is new, the M10 is still competitively priced when compared to other downlights, also because it doesn’t require an additional driver. It is covered by 67 International Patents and presents a huge leap forward for LED lighting technology in general.

It is fire rated as standard and available in dimmable and cheaper non dimmable options. Now brighter than the I9 version, it boasts up to 550 lumens for warm white and 600 lumens for cool white. The ZEP1 is fire rated and now dimmable as standard. Using as little as 6 watts to power it, the ZEP1 emits 460 lumens and is one of the most efficient LED downlights available on the market. Producing 76 lumens per watt, meaning it is Part L compliant and is brighter than most GU10 LED lamps.

One of the distinct selling features of this downlight is that it has a diffused opal cover that hides the LEDs from view, allowing the downlight to blend into the ceiling – no unsightly LEDs are visible.
