LED tunnel lighting and contrast conventional LED light source is a solid state semiconductor devices, which can be converted directly into electricity to light, compared to traditional road tunnel lighting (sodium, metal halide, etc.), LED light source has the following advantages:

LED lighting technology matures, high-power LED light source is required to meet the general street light flux. The luminous efficiency of HPS is generally 100LM / W, is commonly used high-power LED 50-60LM / W, with the best foreign LED chip can be achieved 80LM / W, the higher luminous efficiency, better energy saving means, which also select one of the most important indicators of LED lights. However, LED standards in this regard have not been clearly defined, it must be carefully recognized when purchasing LED lights.
Some companies, in order to reduce costs, use hundreds of 0.5W low power LED. However, this low-power LED light failure is very serious, the light fades to 80% of the life of only 1,000 hours. Therefore, the need for long-term use as street lights is absolutely not allowed to use this low-power LED, the choice of powerful LED (30W generally refers to above), it would be much better light fades.
