The units were very easy to install.
They have a foam seal that would be a big help with air leakage on older can lights that are not air tight. It makes it essentially unusable. Rated for wet location make it applicable for shower and exterior application.. Reduce energy consumption to 11 Watt LED – comparable to BR30/65W incandescent bulb.96

I installed this above the bathroom shower, Old can lights leak a lot of warm room air around the bulb into the attic. We are very happy with the six inch-only model for our non-kitchen 6″ cans.PR.
Overall a very good looking light. Inc. so it won’t stay up in the can, this light has terribly flimsy torsion springs. AK.7
