Gibraltar is a British overseas territory located on the southern end of the Iberian Peninsula at the entrance of the Mediterranean. It has an area of 2.6 square kilometres (1.0 sq mi) and a northern border with Andalusia, Spain. The Rock of Gibraltar is the major landmark of the region. At its foot is the densely populated city area, home to almost 30,000 Gibraltarians and other nationalities. An Anglo-Dutch force captured Gibraltar from Spain in 1704 during the War of the Spanish Succession. The territory was subsequently ceded to Britain “in perpetuity” under the Treaty of Utrecht in 1713. It was an important base for the Royal Navy; today its economy is based largely on tourism, financial services, and shipping.
For me, Gibraltar is such a special region. I have a customer in Gibraltar, in the begining, he alwasy ask about some LED tubes, and claim to buy 2000 units of 120cm LED Tubes. He’s such a professional and clever customer, I answered a lot of questions and send him all the certificates, specifications and quotations. But after that, one month no answer.
But after 3 months, he asked for a quotation for our outdoor LED flood light fixture, and don’t ask for any other informations. And one day later, he give us a order of 500 units of outdoor LED flood light fixture, 80W model. It’s really a special customer in such a special region. The special is that, Gibraltar is such a small region, and the order of 500 units of outdoor LED flood light fixture are not small order for such a small place.
