India’s Tata Power Company plans to launch LED lighting

TataPower in Mumbai, as one of India’s largest power company, will launch LED lighting program and in cooperation with Osram India Mumbai branch, and other local equipment manufacturers, the development of LED lighting industry.

In this plan, consumers will be able to use the equivalent of half the market price to buy five household LED lamp, a total of only 525 rupees (equivalent to about 51.2 yuan). 20W of LED lamp can replace the 40W traditional lamp, and according to Tata Power’s announcement, users will enjoy an additional three-year warranty.
