LED lamps definitions

LED luminaire including LED-based light-emitting element and a matching drive member and the member with light, and protects the light emitting element is fixed, and the appliance connected to the branch circuit components complete lighting apparatus. May be in the form of LED-based light-emitting element is an LED package (element), LED array (modules), LED lamp or LED light engine. LED lamps intended for direct connection to the branch circuit.

LED lamps definitions

LED package: including wire connections or other types of electrical connections to one or more pieces of LED chip components, possibly with optics, thermal, mechanical and electrical interfaces. The device does not include a power supply and a standard lamp. The device can not be directly connected to the branch circuit.

LED arrayor module: in the LED package substrate or printed circuit board (member) or wafer assembly, the optical element may have additional thermal, mechanical, and intended to connect the electrical load to the LED drive interface side. The device is without power and standard lamp. The device can not be directly connected to the branch circuit.

LED light engine: contains the LED packages (components) or LED arrays (modules), LED drivers, as well as the overall portfolio other photometric, thermal, mechanical and electrical components. The device to be connected via a conventional matched with LED lamps connected directly to the branch circuit, the LED lamps designed to not use the standard holder.

LED lamp, nonintegrated: contains an LED array (module) or LED package (component) and a standard lamp components. The device is intended to be connected to the drive via LED lamp standard lamp. The device can not be directly connected to the branch circuit.

LED lamp, integrated: contains the LED packages (components) or LED arrays (modules), LED drivers, standard lamp and the overall combination of other photometric, thermal, mechanical and electrical components. The device is intended to be connected directly to the branch circuit through standardized holder.
