With the Spring Festival approaching, the festive atmosphere is growing stronger. Recently, the Urban Management Bureau of Sheqi County, Nanyang City, Henan Province, has been systematically advancing its Spring Festival lighting project under the theme of “Enhancing Urban Warmth and Illuminating People’s Happiness.” Through meticulously designed light and shadow decorations, the city is adorned with festive attire, bringing a joyful and peaceful atmosphere to every household.

Since mid-January, multiple construction teams have been working simultaneously, overcoming the impact of low temperatures to expedite wiring, light installation, and testing, ensuring that every light is installed correctly and operates stably. Currently, trees along major streets such as Hongqi Road, Jianshe Road, and Zhongxin Street have been decorated with colorful lights, resembling a flowing galaxy under the night sky. Cultural Square and City Square cleverly incorporate elements of local artificial flowers and shelves, showcasing both the festive spirit and industrial vitality.
As the finishing touch to the lighting project, the five city gate towers in Sheqi County are uniformly adorned with large red lanterns and have their outlines illuminated, using classic Chinese red to depict the ancient city’s appearance and continue its historical and cultural heritage. Century Square will feature multiple “meteor shower” light strips creating a golden waterfall effect, paired with lighthouse-shaped light spheres, forming a dazzling visual feast of interwoven light and shadow, resembling frozen fireworks, attracting onlookers.
This lighting project emphasizes overall design and meticulous attention to detail, striving to create a coherent, warm, and layered light and shadow experience. The entire project is expected to be completed by February 11th, at which time it will present a spectacular Spring Festival light show to the public.
