Thoroughly implement the requirements of the Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development on further strengthening the green, low-carbon, and high-quality development of urban lighting during the “14th Five-Year Plan”, take green lighting as a foothold, summarize the work of road lighting and landscape lighting, and make a report on the development track and construction results of Shanghai’s green lighting A systematic summary to fully demonstrate the development of Shanghai’s urban lighting in 2022. At the same time, focuses on the future, scientifically studies the development trend of Shanghai’s green lighting, and provides a professional basis for urban lighting management decisions in the next stage. According to the relevant requirements of the Municipal Housing and Construction Commission and the Municipal Green Appearance Bureau, the Shanghai Green Building Association is responsible for compiling the “Shanghai Green Lighting Development Report 2022”. On July 20, 2023, the kick-off meeting for the preparation of the “Shanghai Green Lighting Development Report 2022” was held in the association. Zhang Yonggang, deputy director of Shanghai Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, Miao Jun, second-level inspector of the Municipal Greening and City Appearance Bureau, and Cui Minghua, president of the association, attended the meeting and delivered speeches.

The Facilities Management Office of the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban-rural Development, the Landscape Office of the Municipal Green Appearance Bureau, the Municipal Comprehensive Management Affairs Center, and the City Appearance and Landscape Affairs Center attended the meeting. Hengnengtai, Roman Lighting, Hongxin Power, China Electronics Technology, Shuzhu Technology, Qin Electric Information, Shanghai Guocheng Branch, Urban Lighting Company, East China Institute, Shanghai Institute, Municipal General Institute, Tongji Design Institute, Urban Construction Design Institute, Fudan Planning Institute, Environmental Institute, Tongji University, Bifu (bpi) Lighting, Unilumin Representatives of more than 20 participating units including science and technology participated in the meeting and exchanged speeches. The meeting was presided over by Zhu Jianhao, former first-level inspector of Shanghai Housing and Urban-Rural Construction Management Committee, and Zhang Jun, deputy secretary-general of the Shanghai Green Building Association, who attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Hengnengtai, the drafting unit of the report, introduced the preparation background, guiding ideology, preparation arrangement, and progress plan of the report. The report will fully reflect the overall development of the city’s green lighting in 2022, and systematically summarize the experience and achievements in the development process around “one main line” and “three bright spots”.

In his speech, Zhang Yonggang, deputy director of the Shanghai Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, affirmed the achievements of the Shanghai Green Building Association in the preliminary work of the report, and put forward requirements for the follow-up work, emphasizing that the Shanghai Green Building Association should take the lead in making the general committee, the relevant departments of the committee and All relevant participating units must actively cooperate, and the editors must go all out to complete the editing tasks on time and with high quality, provide professional advice for the government to carry out urban green lighting work in the next stage, and promote high-quality urban development.
