The second phase of landscape lighting on both sides of the Huangpu River will be implemented soon

In 2018, in accordance with the requirements of the municipal government’s “highest standard and best level”, Shanghai launched the night elevation project of the core section of the Huangpu River (Yangpu Bridge to Nanpu Bridge), including four cross-river bridges and Yangpu. From the bridge to the Nanpu Bridge, 388 important buildings, 16 piers, and nearly 20 kilometers of shoreline landscape lighting construction, reconstruction and centralized control system construction.

At the end of October last year, the project was completed on schedule, including more than 140,000 sets of lamps, more than 50,000 meters of light strips, and more than 600 sets of control terminals.

According to the “Three-Year Mission and Two-Year Basic Completion” plan for the overall landscape lighting plan on both sides of the Huangpu River, Shanghai will basically complete the transformation and upgrading of landscape lighting from Xupu Bridge to Wusongkou Pujiang River in 2019. By then, the Huangpu River night landscape light line will be more than 40 kilometers one way.
