March 1, 2012, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, Health Canada and the American Tack & Hardware Co. Inc. led high bay announced a voluntary recall of Chinese-made LED night.
The Amer Tac nightlights The recall involves three models, respectively, for the Amerelle(on the packaging of the product model 71 190), Amer tac (packaging products Model327 895) and the Everyday Basics (packaging products Model 076 092), led ribbon lighting, night the light son the product model is 71190 or 71.19 thousand A. For the rectangle of the nightlight,about 2.1875 inches, 3.5 inches wide, 1.25 inches deep, nightlights facing white or nickel white, with four horizontal openings, opening the top of a round lamp sensor. Nightlight son the back of the gray plastic material, led ribbon lighting, marked with the Amer Tac ™ logo, the product model of SY “code and” the ETL. The recall is limited to the “SY” in the back of the standard nightlights. The nightlights for sale in the U.S. since March 2009 to October 2010, led ribbon lighting,priced at approximately $ 6 / lights.
The recalled product is about 229,390 (of which about 227 000, Canada 2390). The reasons for the recall, the nightlight is easy to short-circuit due to the circuit to overheat,melt or smoke caused by fire or caused by users burn hazard. Up to now, the American Tack & Hardware Co. Inc. has received 25 from the night-light smoke, melting or charring of the report, there is no personal injury accidents.
To this end, the U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission, Health Canada advised consumers to immediately stop using the recalled nightlights, led ribbon lighting, contact with American Tack & Hardware Co., Inc. for a full refund.
