On May 23, the Tibet Public Resources Trading Platform released a bidding announcement for the construction (secondary) project of urban lighting project in Lhasa.

The content shows that the construction (secondary) of urban lighting project in Lhasa has been approved for construction. The project owner is the Lhasa Urban Management and Comprehensive Law Enforcement Bureau. The construction funds come from local investment of 600 million yuan. The tenderer is the Lhasa Urban Management and Comprehensive Law Enforcement Bureau. The project has met the bidding conditions and is now open for bidding.

The project construction site is located in Lhasa; the construction content includes 3591 new lamp poles, 25 wall lamps, 185,171 meters of lighting cables, 183 new distribution boxes and 89 control boxes on 36 roads (road sections, squares) with a total length of about 60.23 kilometers, such as Linkuo East Road and Linkuo West Road, and 10 back streets and alleys. It mainly includes the construction of new light poles and the installation of distribution boxes and control boxes, the laying of cables and control cables, the removal and restoration of road or pedestrian walkway bricks, and the removal and transportation of existing street lights and cables; the planned construction period is 150 days.

The deadline for submission of bidding documents is June 13, 2024, Beijing time, and the location is the Tibet Autonomous Region Public Resources Trading Platform.
