How to strengthen the standardization of LED industry, the industry generally has become a topic of concern. Highway lighting system is not uniform, which is not conducive to guarantee the quality of LED road lighting products. For the purchase, installation, maintenance and service will bring a lot of problems and issues. In this regard, the Department of Transportation Highway Research Institute Associate Professor Jiang Haifeng detailed interpreted the “road LED lighting” standard and three ministries tunnel LED lighting demonstration project tracking test results, for the development of the industry indicate a new direction.
China LED tunnel lighting demonstration project involving 15 highway tunnel LED lighting demonstration project, spanning 14 provinces and cities. By comparison, it shows to indicators that LED illumination maintains a value higher than the original fluorescent lighting solutions, and the overall environmental performance of the light is well. Based on price 0.93 yuan / kWh, after the transformation, the power consumption of LED lamp is only 40% of the original charge, an annual energy savings of 587,000 degrees, saving electricity cost of 546,000 yuan.
