Therefore, the buildings around the skybridge are used as carriers, and the large-scale group design is carried out. The highlights are highlighted by combining the characteristic elements of the buildings in some parts, and the overall coordination of the surrounding lighting is rationally planned to create a representative model of Shanghai’s urban night scene.
Iconic and exquisite design, outstanding and dazzling night scene lighting
Jiadi Center and Wenxin News Building are two buildings with upright shapes and distinct architectural features, occupying important positions in their respective areas. Lighting focuses on fine depiction according to its own functional attributes and architectural element characteristics to create an iconic night scene in a small area. Jiadi Center is located at No. 968, Beijing West Road, a prime location in Jing’an District. It is a unique high-rise fashion landmark. Its architectural design style is modern and full of elegant temperament, standing out among the high-rise buildings. Whether driving on the Yan’an Road Elevated Road or the North-South Elevated Road, or along the Suzhou River, you can see it. The night scene lighting focuses on the shape of the “crown” on the top of the building, making it more dazzling.
The Wenxin News Building is 170 meters high and is close to the Yan’an Road Elevated Road. When driving on the Yan’an elevated road, whether traveling from east to west or from west to east, the Wenxin Newspaper Building occupies the center of vision for a long time. The lighting uses linear lighting techniques to highlight the main body of the building, emphasizing its uprightness and creating a small-scale iconic night view building.
