112 LED Streetlights Newly Installed in Longxing Town, Hechuan District, Chongqing

Recently, as night falls, soft and bright lights have been turning on precisely along the Longduokuai Road section from Daobei Village to the border with Longfeng Town in Longxing Town, Hechuan District, Chongqing. The 82 newly installed solar streetlights and 30 courtyard lights not only dispel the darkness and silence of the night but also shine into the hearts of villagers along the route, creating a warm and welcoming scene.

It is understood that this road section is an important corridor connecting several villages. Due to years of aging and deterioration of the original streetlights, nighttime travel for villagers, students returning home from school, and vehicle traffic had been plagued by inconvenience and safety hazards. Installing streetlights had become a heartfelt wish of the local community. When the people call, the government responds. With the joint efforts of all parties, the streetlight installation project, which involved an investment of several hundred thousand yuan, advanced smoothly and was completed as scheduled. The 82 newly installed streetlights and 30 courtyard lights all use energy-efficient and environmentally friendly solar power, requiring no complex cable laying and offering low operating and maintenance costs. Now, the several-kilometer-long road section has achieved full lighting coverage. This has not only greatly improved nighttime travel conditions for thousands of villagers along the route and enhanced road safety but also added a touch of beauty to the rural night. Villagers now have more pleasant places for leisurely walks after meals, and their sense of gain, happiness, and security has significantly improved.

"Before, this road was pitch dark at night. We had to carry flashlights when going out, and we never felt at ease.
