124 Streetlights in Yiyuan County, Zibo, Shandong Province, Now Under Smart Management

Recently, the standardized management system of Jinan Urban Lighting Company, a subsidiary of Jinan Energy Group, was officially implemented in Yiyuan County, Zibo City, Shandong Province. The project adopts a market-oriented energy performance contracting model to implement integrated upgrades and full-cycle professional operation and maintenance of urban and rural public lighting facilities in Yiyuan County. The managed area covers approximately 9,124 streetlights, 4,830 light poles, 68 transformer substations, and other functional lighting facilities, as well as landscape lighting and water features in multiple parks.

Since the project's implementation, the project has adhered to the principle of simultaneous progress in renovation and safe operation and maintenance. Currently, energy-saving renovations and lighting control system upgrades for over 3,000 sets of lighting fixtures have been completed. The replacement of wiring, light poles, supporting foundations, and inspection wells is proceeding in an orderly manner according to schedule. Before the flood season, the operation and maintenance team seized the window of opportunity to complete a comprehensive safety inspection of all streetlights and park courtyard lights, and carried out waterproofing and reinforcement treatment on each streetlight cable joint, using professional methods to solidify the safety defense line for the lighting facilities during the flood season.

Currently, the optimization of the city's smart lighting monitoring platform and the deployment of the safety control system are ongoing. Projects such as adding streetlights, upgrading solar streetlights, renovating demonstration roads, replacing courtyard lights, and enhancing the lighting along the banks of the Mantang River and on six bridges are proceeding smoothly.

During the trusteeship period, the operation and maintenance team strictly adheres to Jinan's urban lighting operation and maintenance standards, relying on a "one pole, one file" digital management and control mechanism to conduct professional maintenance. This mechanism effectively improves the accuracy of fault response and the level of preventative maintenance, focusing on reducing the failure rate of lighting fixtures, extending equipment lifespan, and comprehensively improving the operational stability and maintenance efficiency of lighting facilities.
