148 Solar Streetlights Illuminate the Night in Fangcun Village, Wutun Subdistrict, Yanliang District, Xi'an

Recently, the streetlight lighting project in Fangcun Village, Wutun Subdistrict, Yanliang District, Xi'an, was fully completed. As a key livelihood project under the Wutun Subdistrict's "Take on 100 Things, Benefit the People" campaign, the Fangcun Village task force implemented concrete measures to solve villagers' nighttime travel problems, earning unanimous recognition and widespread praise from the community.

Previously, Fangcun Village already had some streetlights, but due to the large spacing between the lights, many back streets and alleys had blind spots, resulting in insufficient light at night, affecting villagers' travel and posing safety hazards. To meet the public's expectations, the subdistrict and village committees carefully organized and implemented the streetlight expansion project. Based on the existing streetlights, the spacing between the lights was reasonably reduced, and new solar streetlights were installed. All cement roads and alleys with suitable installation conditions were equipped with solar streetlights, achieving full coverage and eliminating blind spots.

A total of 148 new solar streetlights were installed this time, including 4 in Sunzhuang group, 17 in Fangxi group, 15 in Fangzhong group, 30 in Fangdong group, 42 in Yidong group, and 40 in Yixi group. The lights are energy-saving and environmentally friendly, providing even and sufficient illumination, ensuring safety for nighttime travel and improving the village's appearance. After the streetlights were turned on, the villagers were all smiles, praising the new lights: "Now, our village, whether it's the main roads or the alleys, is brightly lit. Going out for a walk at night, picking up children from school, or visiting neighbors is much safer and more convenient. We no longer have to walk in the dark like before!"

These streetlights illuminate the village nights and warm the hearts of the people. Next, Wutun Subdistrict will continue to deepen the "Adopt 100 Things, Benefit the People" theme activity, focusing on the urgent needs and concerns of the people, doing more practical things for their livelihood, and continuously improving their sense of happiness and fulfillment.
