2014 global LED lighting industry output value reached 340.8 billion

Benefit from the various countries and regions of the world, promoted policies to support and improve the overall cost of LED lighting products, LED Engineering Research Institute believes that the next two to three years, the scale of the global LED lighting products will maintain a relatively rapid growth. GLII predicts that by 2017, global LED lighting will be more than 600 billion output value of the scale of the next three years is expected to reach a CAGR of around 23%.

The competitive landscape of the global LED lighting, Philips, Osram and other international lighting manufacturers to benefit from the brand, technology, channels, size and many other advantages, has been an industry leader. In recent years, along with the continuous improvement of LED lighting penetration, the traditional lighting market demand shrinking, international lighting manufacturers continue to increase efforts to develop LED lighting business, its LED lighting business revenue accounting is also rapidly increasing.

Research shows that in 2013 Philips LED lighting revenue reached 24.2 billion, LED lighting business income accounted for 34.6% share of total revenue for the world's largest giant LED lighting. Philips reported a third quarter 2014 the proportion accounted for Philips Lighting LED lighting has reached 40% of total revenue, annual Philips LED lighting business can reach 300 billion. Osram, the 2013 LED lighting revenues of 12.7 billion, accounting for 29% of revenue, for the world's second largest LED lighting giants. 2014, OSRAM LED lighting revenue accounting has been increased to more than 40%. GLII research shows that in 2015, Philips, Osram and other international lighting manufacturers LED lighting business objective is to increase the proportion to 60%.

In contrast, domestic lighting manufacturers LED lighting business size is still small, and international companies disparities. GLII research shows that China's largest lighting manufacturers LED lighting revenue size is also just over 10 billion in 2013, in 2014 the largest is only 20 billion.
