For many years, most of the buildings on both sides of Wuhu Road have no landscape lighting, lacking the night city skyline and the spatial order of the city, and the color is messy, lacks transition, and the light pollution is serious. The existing architectural landscape lighting equipment and lighting methods are relatively old. In addition, advertisements and luminous characters are disorderly and disorderly, and road green spaces lack landscape lighting.

However, the Hefei Municipal Development and Reform Commission has agreed to build the project for the lighting renovation project along the Wuhu Road and carry out the preliminary work of the project. The project is included in the 2019-2021 Great Construction Plan. The scope of implementation is Jinzhai Road in the west and Xiaosu Bridge in the east, with a total length of 3.2 kilometers. At that time, 34 important nodes along the road will be brightened and upgraded, including building and landscape lighting, remote control management system, pipelines and supporting power supply and distribution facilities.
