80 LED street lights light up Lincuo Village, Yuhu Town, Jiedong District, Jieyang, Guangdong

From March 7 to 8, 2024, the Guangdong Lions Club Wutong Service Team jointly hosted the celebrity, Cili, Chaoqing, Rongjiang, Huai, Xingguang, Baijie, and Lianjiang service teams in Yuhu, Jiedong District, Jieyang City, Guangdong Province Zhenlincuo Village jointly carried out the "Rural Revitalization·Lions Love Street Lamps" service activity and donated 40 solar street lamps and 40 solar wall lamps to the local area, which not only ensures the safety of villagers' travel, but also enhances their sense of gain and happiness and helps rural revitalization.

During the preliminary investigation, the Wutong Service Team learned that Lincuo Village currently has a population of more than 2,500 people, of which a large proportion are elderly people living alone and left-behind children. There are no street lights on the paths between villages, and there are hidden dangers for villagers traveling at night. Therefore, the Wutong Service Team immediately launched this service project to make a positive contribution to alleviating the villagers' travel problems.

On March 8, relevant leaders of Lincuo Village in Yuhu Town and representatives of various service teams of the Guangdong Lions Club attended the donation ceremony and had in-depth exchanges around the needs of rural revitalization in the territory.
