American lighting manufacturer RAB announced a 10% price increase

On August 12th, the American lighting manufacturer RAB sent a notice of price increase to dealers and agents.

The notice said: "The US Department of Commerce and the US Trade Representative Office (USTR) have imposed additional tariff increases on many commodities, including lamps and ballasts.

Tariffs have also been imposed on LED replacement light sources [HS Code 8539.50.00]. Therefore, RAB announced that the price of lamps will be increased by 10% from September 7, 2019.

Orders shipped immediately on or before September 7 will be invoiced at the current price. ”
