Badong County, Enshi Prefecture, Hubei Province completed lighting renovation of 185 classrooms
At 6 pm on January 9, the sky gradually turned dark. The teaching building of Shennong Primary and Secondary School in Badong County, Enshi Tujia and Miao Autonomous Prefecture, Hubei Province was brightly lit. When you walked into the classroom, you could see that the bright tubes were different from ordinary incandescent lamps. The difference is that these are one of the eye protection facility construction projects that will be completed in Badong County in 2023.
"After changing the lamp, I clearly feel that the light is softer. I don't feel dazzling or dry when reading and writing homework, and my visual fatigue is also greatly reduced." Zhu Zimeng, a fifth-grade student in Class 3 of Shennong Primary School in Badong County, said about the LED eye protection lamp Full of praise.
Similarly, 362 students from Donghangkou Town Junior High School also felt the warmth. "The school has installed 108 LED eye protection lights so that students can study in a comfortable environment." said Song Xiufeng, principal of Donghangkou Town Junior High School.
It is reported that the newly replaced LED eye protection lamp adopts a grille anti-glare design. The lamp has a large light-emitting area, a gentler and more comfortable light feel, and can effectively prevent light from shining directly into the eyes. The blackboard lamp adopts a special installation angle and is hung in front and above the blackboard, which solves the previous problem of making it difficult to see the writing on the blackboard due to reflection.
Up to now, Badong County has invested more than 1 million yuan to equip 185 classrooms in 9 schools with 2,193 eye protection lamps in accordance with the "9+3" equipment standard for each classroom (i.e. 9 eye protection lamps + 3 blackboard lamps). Benefiting nearly 10,000 students across the county.
"We have completed the first phase of the renovation of LED eye protection lamps. In the next step, we will successively transform classroom lighting in large-scale schools in the county's compulsory education stage to fully protect students' healthy learning." said the relevant person in charge of the Badong County Education Bureau .
