Campus Lighting Environment Renovation Completed at Gengjia Junior High School, Taihu County, Anqing, Anhui

To further improve the campus teaching lighting environment, protect students’ eyesight health, and create a more comfortable and safe learning atmosphere, the Education Bureau of Taihu County, Anqing City, Anhui Province, launched a key people’s livelihood project - the lighting renovation program for primary and secondary school classrooms. On the evening of March 11, Gengjia Junior High School in Taihu County successfully completed its campus lighting environment upgrading project.

This renovation focused on a comprehensive upgrade of the classroom lighting system. Traditional old lamps were replaced with eye care LED classroom lights, while the layout and installation angles of lamps were optimized in strict accordance with national classroom lighting standards. During construction, workers adopted off?peak operations in the evening, efficiently finishing lamp installation, circuit commissioning and brightness calibration without disrupting daily teaching activities.

After the renovation, classrooms feature soft and uniform light with no stroboscopic flicker or glare. The new lighting effectively relieves visual fatigue caused by conventional lamps and provides teachers and students with a high-quality learning environment close to natural light. It substantially reduces the risk of myopia among students and lays a solid foundation for improving classroom teaching quality.

Going forward, the school will continue to promote the upgrading of campus facilities. With more thoughtful support and high-quality services, it will build a safe, comfortable and healthy campus environment for all teachers and students, helping students grow up healthily and achieve all-round development.
