Chiayi County subsidizes the replacement of old lamps and lanterns with LED

From now on, Chiayi County can apply for the replacement of old lamps and LED lamps for those who meet the qualifications of the elderly living alone, low-income households, and each household can subsidize up to 10 LED lamps. By replacing old lamps, they can brighten their homes and save money. 

The Environmental Protection Agency pointed out that taking the replacement of 10 old lamps with LEDs as an example, about 880 kilowatt-hours of electricity can be saved each year, and about 3,520 yuan can be saved at 4 yuan per kilowatt-hour. .

In response to global climate change and the implementation of a just transformation, the Jia County Government has implemented energy-saving improvement plans for energy-vulnerable groups. The Environmental Protection Bureau also appeals to the public to develop a good habit of turning off lights and switch to energy-saving tools, which can save a sum of money at any time.
