Chiayi dress up nearly 3 million LED street lights

Chiayi City has a comprehensive facelift of 28,000 LED street lights. The opening ceremony was held in the central square on 27th evening by the government. The mayor Tu Xingzhe said, a comprehensive facelift LED street lights, Chiayi reborn to become the first city of LED lighting city, and also has 10 years to save 270 million electricity, and to buy 10 years of lamp repair services.

Tu Xingzhe said, facelift 1 year of LED lamps can save electricity about 2742 million RMB, about 7% of electricity. The carbon emissions by 10,000 5523 metric tons, 10 years of total carbon reduction is equivalent of the amount of carbon in 400 Chiayi parks. Chiayi City takes a big step forward of building a low-carbon energy-saving city.
