Chongqing "Urban Road Lighting Engineering Technical Standards" officially released

Recently, the Chongqing Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Construction Committee issued the "Technical Standards for Urban Road Lighting Engineering". The standard number is DBJ50/T-439-2023, which will come into force on July 1, 2023.

It is reported that this standard is applicable to the design, construction and acceptance of new, expanded and rebuilt urban road lighting projects in Chongqing. It adapts to the development requirements of Chongqing's road lighting, promotes energy conservation and emission reduction of urban road lighting projects, and ensures the quality of design, construction and lighting. Improve the level of operation and management, ensure the safe, economical and stable operation of lighting facilities, promote the scientific development of the industry, and provide urban residents with a good visual environment.

Road lighting design: including road lighting standards; selection of lamps, light poles and their accessories; lighting methods and design requirements; lighting power supply and control; energy-saving standards and measures, etc.

Performance requirements for road lighting facilities: including lamps; light poles; LED drive power; street light control systems, etc.

Engineering construction: including civil engineering and pipeline construction; lighting and light pole construction; power transformation and distribution system construction; control system construction, etc.

Project acceptance: including acceptance of civil works and pipelines; acceptance of lamps and light poles; acceptance of power transformation and distribution systems; acceptance of control systems; acceptance of lighting quality and energy saving, etc.
