Connecticut town of the United States installed 123 pcs street light which with Wi-Fi
NBC Universal reported that the Connecticut town of Plainville installed LED street lights using advanced connectivity technology.
1,400pcs new LED lights are estimated to save $ 70,000 per year for city. In addition to ordinary LED lights, the town also installed 123pcs to provide free Wi-Fi LED lights. 23pcs in 123pcs lights will be as access points, municipal buildings outside the network speed up to 10 trillion. The remaining 90 Wi-Fi lights will act as expanders to send signals.
The town's official advertising revenue is used to pay more than 10,000 US dollars per year Wi-Fi service fee. The town official also said the new Wi-Fi service will be implemented within a month.
