Eaton LED lighting products raise prices again

Following the price increase of lighting products by Eaton on August 21, the company has once again announced the price increase due to the formal implementation of tariff measures.

The notice stated:

"On September 17, US time, the US Department of Commerce and the US Trade Representative (USTR) issued a warning that the measures to impose a 10% tariff on China's 200 billion US dollars in US products were finally settled and officially implemented on September 24, and On January 1, 2019, the relevant product tax rate for China will be raised to 25%.

On August 21, Eaton announced that the price of the product would increase by an average of 6%, and pointed out that the details of the tariff will be dynamic, the company will adjust the affected projects and notify the industry as much as possible.

A follow-up update to Eaton Lighting also pointed out that some products are likely to show additional growth in October based on an assessment of the potential impact of tariffs on US$200 million in US exports.

From October 1, 2018, along with the previously announced growth, Eaton Lighting will adjust the price of products produced in China by 10%.
