Stephen Taylor, Ford’s flagship North American flagship store manager for sales, leasing and marketing of police vehicles, said: “Hidden light strips replace the usual heavy-duty police lights that were installed on the roof of the car, greatly improving driver visibility.”

The dark band above the windshield is replaced by transparent glass, providing the driver with superior color and brightness. The new generation of Ford police cars have more space inside. This new hidden warning light can display typical red and blue flashing lights, or can only show red/red or blue/blue flashing lights, and can also completely display white light to provide on-site lighting.

Ford said that this hidden warning light brightness can be adjusted to 20% of full brightness and provides an automatic dimming setting.

The hidden warning light is currently installed in the Ford 2017 police car.
