Harbin's lighting upgrades to "brighten" the night sky to welcome the Asian Winter Games

In order to improve the quality of the urban environment and welcome the Asian Winter Games, Harbin City (hereinafter referred to as "Harbin") will strengthen the daily management and maintenance of urban lighting facilities, efficiently promote the optimization and upgrading of urban night scene lighting, and achieve the goal of urban purification, beautification and lighting.

In terms of daily management and maintenance of lighting facilities, Harbin will strengthen the inspection and inspection of lighting facilities, strengthen daily management and maintenance, wipe the surface dirt in time, repair the facilities with tilted poles, damaged bases, and lamps falling off, broken, and missing, eliminate safety hazards such as damaged control boxes and cable short circuits, and ensure that the integrity rate of facilities and the lighting rate reach more than 98%. Harbin will also strengthen the management and maintenance of lighting facilities for buildings, bridges, and landscape sketches, and extend the opening and closing time of landscape lighting as required.

In terms of promoting the optimization and upgrading of night lighting, Harbin will implement a comprehensive upgrade and renovation of lighting facilities covering buildings around the Asian Winter Games venues, athletes and event officials, and streets along the media residences to the venues. It will organize and coordinate relevant districts to supplement the lighting of buildings along the streets. At the same time, new night lighting facilities will be built at important nodes.
