How to buy LED T8 Tube with good quality

　　LED T8 tube has two main stages, which represent two small ways of the development of LED lighting: one is to use straight blade LED lights, and the other one is the use of high-performance SMD LED lamp beads. These two are different both in the light efficiency, manufacturing technique and cooling ability. The SMD type is much better than straight blade one.

　　1. The fixed end: currently, the LED T8 Tube on the market has many different way of splicing: there are aluminum sheet, PC material and aluminum sheet plus PC material; distinguishing by way of fixation mode: there are glue fixation and screw fixation on both ends of the tube.

　　2. The light transmittance of PC cover: currently, the light transmittance of clear covered LED T8 tube can reach 88-95% and the frosted covered can reach 70-86%. If the luminous flux of a tube without cover is 2000lm, after adding a frosted cover with the light transmittance of 88%, then its actual luminous flux has only 1760lm. If adding clear cover with light transmittance of 95%, the actual luminous flux will turn 1900lm. But there are also disadvantages of clear cover: the light is very dazzling, while the light given out by the frosted cover is very soft. Therefore, we should select different covers according to the different environments customer will apply in.

　　3. The substrate: by attaching LED chips to the PCB or aluminum based electronic circuit board and then fixing them on the top of aluminum heat sink, the thermal conductivity of glass fiber PCB is 20w/mk and of aluminum is 200w/mk. The greater the thermal conductivity is, the better the efficiency of heat transfer and thermal conduction.

　　4. Lifespan: the longevity of LED T8 tube depends on the rational combination of chip, power, cooling ability and other aspects.
