India requested the country to replace the street lights into LED street light

　　According to the Times of India reported, citing the Indian Lighting Association (ELCOMA) remarks that India Joint Urban Development has asked the country's state government 100% replacement of LED street light.

　　The renovation project will have 27.5 million street lights are replaced with LED street light, for India to cut more than 5,000 megawatts of electricity consumed within three years.

　　The demand is following the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) conducted a survey made ??after the street lights, the survey showed that 80 percent of India streetlight installation is substandard. The only reason pole distance, type and luminaire height and other factors are not taken into account, not a replacement of street lighting instructions.

　　The Indian government has appointed Energy Services Ltd. (EESL) fund-raising and installation of LED systems. These street lights will be replaced in phases. EESL has begun to develop a qualified supplier qualification standards, to ensure good quality LED street light.
