Intelligent energy-saving transformation of urban lighting in Qianjiang City, Hubei Province has been completed
Recently, with the completion of the commissioning of the last graphene LED street lamp on Jinxiu Road, the highly anticipated "Urban Lighting Intelligent Energy-saving Transformation Project" in Qianjiang City, Hubei Province was officially completed and put into use, bringing new changes and hope to the field of urban lighting.
"This project is a successful exploration of our city in the process of promoting urban green development. Through the innovative model of 'enterprise investment + electricity fee sharing', the intelligent transformation of 6,473 old street lamps on 23 main and secondary roads in the city has been successfully realized without increasing fiscal expenditure." Dong Jun, director of the Qianjiang City Street Light Management Bureau, introduced that according to statistics, the annual electricity saving after the transformation reached 2.3609 million kWh, and carbon emissions were reduced by 12,400 tons, which is equivalent to the annual carbon fixation of planting 689,000 trees.
It is understood that the project deeply integrates advanced Internet of Things technology, creating a series of impressive upgrade highlights, allowing urban lighting to move towards a new era of intelligence.
"In terms of material innovation, graphene composite heat dissipation LED lamps are used. Compared with traditional sodium lamps, this type of lamp has significant advantages, with a lifespan extended by 3 times and a 40% increase in light efficiency. This means that street lamps are not only more durable, but also can illuminate every corner of the city more efficiently." Dong Jun said.
The intelligent control function is also a highlight of this renovation. By installing a single lamp controller, street lamps can automatically adjust the brightness according to real-time traffic and weather conditions. This intelligent control system has a comprehensive power saving rate of 50%. While saving energy for the city, it also provides citizens with a more comfortable lighting environment.
It is worth mentioning that the project has built a unified smart lighting Internet of Things platform for the entire city. This platform has greatly improved the management efficiency of lighting facilities, and the fault response time has been greatly reduced from the original 12 hours to 2 hours, and the maintenance efficiency has been increased by 80%. This makes the city's lighting system more stable and reliable, providing a strong guarantee for citizens' travel.
