Jinan city lighting master plan is expected to be released by the end of September

From "a lake to a ring" to "Lake Show", "Spring City Banquet" is getting better. How to give full play to the leading and benchmarking role of “one lake, one link” landscape lighting, further improve the nighttime quality of cities in Jinan, stimulate the nighttime vitality of the city, and enhance the comfort of nighttime travel for citizens? The reporter learned from the Municipal Planning Bureau that the “General Planning for City Lighting in Jinan” (hereinafter referred to as the “overall plan”) is being compiled, which will provide scientific guidance for the city to be bright and beautiful. The current master plan has formed preliminary results and is expected to be officially released by the end of September.

Since the "one lake, one ring" landscape lighting project has been turned on, whenever night falls, the bright and colorful scenery along the coast of Daming Lake and the moat along the Jinan River, and the landscapes that draw in the scenery and vitality have attracted a large number of tourists and citizens to stop. After the Ming Lake Show was staged, it became a cultural feast sought after by citizens and tourists. Almost overnight, the night of the city of Jinan became lively and beautiful. This also gives citizens and tourists more expectation of the night lighting of the city.

However, there is still much work to be done to make the city look bright and beautiful at night. According to a survey conducted by the Municipal Planning Bureau, 38.21% of the 6508 valid questionnaires believe that the current Jinan night scene has high brightness and light pollution problems, and 54.93% of the respondents believe that the color is excessive. Of the respondents, 50.72% think the dynamics are too fast. Some respondents believe that some road lighting can not meet the travel safety requirements, there are glare and other issues. Most respondents believe that in order to highlight the unique urban features of “mountains, springs, lakes, rivers, and cities”, they should focus on improving the nightscape lighting in key historic buildings, waterfront areas, and ancient urban areas in the city, and properly rectify and upgrade the administrative center. Night view lighting of the railway station, the airport, and some park squares; some interviewees also suggested strengthening the night environment as a whole, so that the night scenes reflect Jinan characteristics, Quancheng characteristics, and cultural characteristics.

In order to strengthen the planning and guidance of city lighting and night lighting work, the Municipal Planning Bureau and the Shanghai Urban Management Bureau initiated the preparation of the master plan. The planned objects include urban roads, tunnels, buildings, squares, parks, public green spaces, scenic spots and historic sites, and other buildings (buildings) that are illuminated by artificial light for the purpose of decoration and outdoor landscaping; the scope of planning is from the scope of the city. Coordinate the layout of the city's night landscape, focusing on the central city, the conversion of new and old kinetic energy to the predecessor area, airport and Zhangqiu district, and radiate externally to key areas such as Jiyang county, Shanghe county, and Pingyin county. The near-term planning period will be until 2020 and the period up to 2035. In terms of content, the overall plan will determine the urban lighting development goals, development scale, urban lighting district, urban functional lighting, urban landscape lighting architecture, smart city lighting construction, urban lighting management, and various lighting constructions in 2035.
