LED industrial lighting applications prospects

　　Currently, LED lighting products in the market as a whole is relatively low penetration rate. There was only 3% in 2012. At early stage, it is mainly driven by the initial demonstration project transformed into municipal systems lighting applications major markets, focusing on roads, tunnels, squares, subway and other public lighting area. While the commercial and industrial lighting with good economy grew rapidly to become the subdivision applications, traditional lighting accounted for 34%, LED lighting accounts for 66%.

　　Industrial lighting has great potential. First, a larger proportion of industrial electricity for lighting, which accounts for China's lighting electricity consumption by about 28%, LED industrial lighting energy-saving effect is obvious. Meanwhile, LED lighting penetration rate in the industry has gradually improved, the current product is mainly as alternative products, industrial lighting accounts for about half of the amount of straight tube lights. Secondly, industrial lighting payback time is shorter, usually 2-3 years. Again, the special requirements of the lighting can bring the LED lighting product characteristics. In addition, industrial lighting business model needs further exploration. By CSA survey data show that more than 60% of the LED lighting companies are marketing the project as the preferred channel; while the professional lighting market, retail channels, supermarkets, shopping malls and other traditional channels enhance the right to speak slowly; Monopoly experience stores, e-commerce, integrated services providers and other diversified channels and patterns need to be explored further.

　　With LED lighting rising in the mainstream of the global lighting market, LED lighting market share will rise significantly. In recent years, industrial plants and other construction area continues to increase, demanding for LED lighting applications space gradually enlarged. From McKinsey report notes that in 2016, industrial lighting penetration will reach 18%, in 2020, it will exceed 30%. While China's industrial electricity consumption has been more than 70% of total social consumption, strong demand for industrial energy efficiency, a huge market space also makes penetration rate of LED industrial lighting a further accelerate.
