LED intelligent street lighting pilot project carried out in Jacksonville, United States

Jacksonville, Florida, will launch GE's LED intelligent street light pilot project in the city, its main application area is the downtown area of Jacksonville.

GE Intelligent LED lighting system contains "Predix" software to analyze the data in real time, but the company said the data will be uploaded to GE's lighting network database, for internal analysis.

Currently the focus of Jacksonville Municipal is to provide real-time information about intelligent street parking spaces for the vehicle driver. The intelligent streetlight monitoring function also raised the issue of some concern and discussion for the safety of residents.
