LED lighting research supported by the United States ten million US dollars

　　US Department of Energy (DOE) recently announced the allocation of $ 10 million funding to support research, development and manufacture of LED lighting and OLED lighting.

　　These funds will be provided to companies, academic institutions and national laboratories, trying to promote the application of research to improve the technical and optical efficiency, performance and reduce costs, will also be available to the efforts to improve the solid material is commercially viable and through innovation to improve product quality and consistency organization. US Department of Energy says its goal is to improve 75% of the LED performance points, take it from the current average level of about 150 lumens per watt to 250 lumens per watt.
