LED lighting to replace Singapore

　　Starting this month, Singapore 500 street lights will be gradually replaced with LED lighting, replacing the total number of about 4000, is expected to replace the entire project will be completed in the second quarter of 2018. The street light replacement project life mainly in low traffic residential streets and some of the streets, lighting watts used by a number of these roads is relatively low (between 70-150 watts), the project will replace the previously used nearing age of high-pressure sodium vapor lamps replaced with more than 30% energy saving LED lamps.

　　Prior to this lighting replacement project, the transport sector has been in Singapore Northumberland Road and Tekka roadway for a period of three years, LED lighting test of test of 17 lights. Singapore Land Transport Authority is now actively trying to main roads and highways using high wattage LED lights (250 watts). Since last August, JPJ has to energy efficiency, longevity and stability and high wattage LED lights were tested in Lorong1ToaPayoh, this test is expected to be completed in 2016.
