LED Lighting update Czech Offices Improve Work Efficiency

Philips Lighting (European Amsterdam stock exchange code: LIGHT) recently announced the installation of a new color-tunable temperature LED lighting system for the headquarters of the Czech energy company Innogy. This principle is based on Circadian Rhythms and is adjusted according to time. The advanced lighting system with changing lighting helps stimulate the enthusiasm of the staff and helps the office's successful transformation. In the morning and in the afternoon, the system simulates natural daylight, enhances the visual comfort of the office, and invigorates employees. This kind of "people-oriented" lighting that changes light effects with the human circadian rhythm is comparable to a cup of espresso coffee.

LED Lighting update Czech Offices Improve Work Efficiency

In November 2017, Innogy completed an in-depth transformation of its 10,000 square metre office space in Prague. The company opened the traditional closed office space and actively created a comfortable, healthy and efficient office environment for its 550 employees. The lighting system, along with brand new restaurants, furniture, health foods, kitchens and innovative spaces, was listed as the focus of this transformation.

The Smart Connected Lighting system deployed by Philips Lighting in this project included approximately 2,000 Philips LED lamps. Among them, 860 sets of Philips PowerBalance color adjustable ceiling lamps and 96 sets of Philips LuxSpace color temperature downlights can adjust the lighting intensity and color temperature at different times. These delicate changes not only ensure the comfort of the eyes of employees, but also can be tailored to individual work needs. In addition to improving employee comfort, the system can also improve operational efficiency through remote monitoring and maintenance.
