Previously, some of the library’s lighting fixtures had aged, leading to issues such as insufficient brightness and flickering. Prolonged reading under such conditions often caused visual fatigue and negatively impacted the reader experience. To address this concern effectively, the library adhered to the principle of "putting people first and prioritizing service." After extensive research and evaluation, the library ultimately selected flicker-free, high-color-rendering LED eye-protection lights to fully replace the fixtures in key areas, including reading zones, study areas, and bookshelves.

Following the renovation, the library now features scientifically zoned lighting. Reading and study areas are equipped with 4000K warm white lights, which provide soft and uniform illumination, effectively reducing eye strain during extended reading sessions. Additionally, the new lighting fixtures utilize energy-saving technology, consuming over 40% less energy than traditional lights and boasting a lifespan three times longer. This not only enhances the user experience but also aligns with green and environmentally friendly practices. During the construction process, the staff adopted a "staggered work schedule and phased implementation" approach to minimize disruptions to the library’s normal operations, ensuring uninterrupted service for visitors.
