Lighting renovation of the old factory area of North China Pharmaceutical in Shijiazhuang

Recently, citizens passing by the old factory area of North China Pharmaceutical were surprised to find that the unique Russian-style buildings were immersed in a dazzling light, solemn and grand, attracting citizens to come and check in and take pictures. Master Zhang, a retired employee of Huayao, said with emotion: "Seeing the familiar grain storage tower glow with new glory is both cordial and shocking. This is a common memory of us Shijiazhuang people."

The old factory area of North China Pharmaceutical was built in the 1950s. It is a key industrial project during the "First Five-Year Plan" period. It not only carries the collective memory of several generations of Shijiazhuang people, but also an important part of Shijiazhuang's urban renewal "one district and four parks". This stunning appearance in the form of a dazzling light show not only presented a feast of visual and cultural integration for the citizens, but also awakened people's deep memory of Huayao's historical contributions.

This lighting renovation project of the old building complex of North China Pharmaceutical was carried out in accordance with the urban renewal requirements of the Shijiazhuang Municipal Party Committee and Municipal Government. The project adopts domestic advanced LED lighting technology and realizes light and shadow effects through intelligent control systems. On the basis of strictly protecting the original appearance of historical buildings, it integrates modern lighting art with historical buildings to create a night landscape with both historical weight and modern technology.

"This is an innovative practice in the protection and utilization of industrial heritage," said Qi Jia, the project leader. "We use energy-saving and environmentally friendly lighting technology to reduce energy consumption by more than 60%. While showing the beauty of the building, we practice the concept of green development."
