More than 5,800 non-LED lamp holders in Ningbo, Zhejiang will undergo a major transformation

Recently, the Municipal Facilities Maintenance Center of Haishu District, Ningbo City, Zhejiang Province launched a special action for energy-saving lighting renovation.

On Wangjing Road, the installation personnel of lighting facilities are stepping on the climbing vehicle. Adjust the angle of the light source to ensure that the street lights the angle is positive and the light source is bright.

"As the number of lighting facilities continues to increase, the power consumption is rising linearly, and there are also problems such as aging lamps, high energy consumption, and insufficient illumination. For example, the street lamps on Wangjing Road used to use halogen lamps, which are not bright enough and have a short lifespan, and now replace it with energy-saving LED lights to increase the brightness, beautiful appearance and achieve the goal of green energy saving.” The relevant person in charge of the Lighting Maintenance Department of the Municipal Facilities Maintenance Center of Haishu District said that based on the special action of “Looking at Haishu with Fine Urban Management”, the city will be promoted as a whole. The quality of lighting facilities has been improved. At this stage, partial installation pilot work has been carried out on 6 roads including Wangjing Road. After the unified adjustment of the luminosity effect, the next step will be "big action". All non-LED lamp holders have been upgraded to achieve full coverage of LED light sources for street lamps in urban areas."

In addition, after all LED energy-saving lamps are "on duty", the smart lighting application platform in Haishu District will also be "online" simultaneously. The platform is a resource management, energy management and operation monitoring system connected to urban lighting facilities established by using advanced technologies such as the Internet of Things, cloud computing, spatial geographic information and wireless communication. The smart lighting application platform can realize remote control, grasp the operating status in real time, achieve the purpose of on-demand lighting, high efficiency and energy saving, and fine management, and provide strong support for the realization of smart empowerment municipal administration.

"Although street lamps are 'small', people's livelihood matters are 'big'. We will use intelligent lighting technology to light up the 'satisfaction lights' that warm the hearts of the people.
