Nearly 100 smart multifunctional poles in Xiamen's Hubin District were put into use on the eve of this year's Spring Festival after renovation.

In the renovated Hubin District, the original lighting poles, various road signs, and traffic signs on the road disappeared, replaced by smart multifunctional poles that integrate lighting, monitoring and other functional devices. Various pole boxes no longer occupy road space, the road surface is more unobstructed, and the city environment has become more refreshing.

Exploring "multi-pole integration", solving the problem of "pole clusters", and releasing more urban space for citizens, this has been Xiamen's efforts. Through "multi-pole integration", the intensive integration of various poles, chassis, supporting pipelines, power and monitoring facilities on the road is realized, which purifies the road space and greatly improves the city appearance.
