Recently, the editor learned from the Fuzhou Urban Management Committee that as the traffic on the main roads around Fuzhou Metro Line 4 resumes, nearly 600 smart light poles will gradually appear near 14 stations on the line, allowing citizens to experience more technological happiness, feel the urban quality in the details.

Near Zhuyu Station of Metro Line 4, 80 smart light poles have been preliminarily erected and neatly distributed on both sides of Hengyu Road. It is expected to be connected to the smart management system in the first half of the year, and more than 20 smart functions will be realized.

"Different from ordinary lighting street lights, each smart light pole here has a 'smart brain'. After being connected to the background system, it can realize the organic integration of multiple application scenarios, such as smart lighting management, smart seats, and early warning of pedestrians running red lights, electric bicycle charging, new energy vehicle charging, environmental monitoring, LED screen video playback and urban radio, etc. In the future, we will innovatively design and mount more smart functional modules according to the needs of urban management and citizen services.” Project leader Introduction said.

On Lianjiang North Road near Zhuyu Station, the first phase of the construction of smart light poles in the Jiangbei area of Fuzhou has been put into use. It can charge, alarm, and automatically capture illegal activities... At the scene, the editor felt the great functions of the small street lights. The smart light poles around Metro Line 4 will implement a number of smart functions with reference to the first phase of the project.

"If someone breaks into the green area or red light under the street lamp, the smart camera on the lamp pole will not only capture it immediately, but also feed back the photo to the LED display screen, and broadcast a reminder simultaneously." The person in charge of the project introduced that the background also according to the time, specific scenes, etc., the volume of broadcasting, snapshots, etc. can be adjusted remotely, which is convenient for the traffic police department and the garden department to enforce the law.

In addition, situations such as illegal parking and overflowing trash cans can also be captured by smart light poles and sent to the background system to assist in urban management.

Nowadays, many poles with different functions have been set up on many urban roads, such as traffic poles, public video poles, sign poles, etc., and smart light poles can realize the "multi-pole integration" of poles with different functions, reducing traffic congestion. At the same time, try to avoid the waste of manpower and material resources caused by repeated ground breaking and laying pipelines, and optimize the pole layout of traffic roads.
