New LED street lights installed in Chongren County, Fuzhou, Jiangxi

"Small" street lights light up the "people's heart road" leading to the masses, which is a vivid portrayal of the town's service to the masses, doing practical things, caring about the people and solving their worries. Since the beginning of this year, the Party Committee and government of Xiangshan Town have firmly stood on the people's side, focused on rural infrastructure construction, and worked hard to improve the people's sense of happiness in life.

Since the beginning of this year, the Party Committee and government of Xiangshan Town have focused on the urgent needs of the people and started the street lighting project in the market town, benefiting more than 7,000 people in the surrounding areas, and working hard to do the work in the hearts of the people. The picture shows the night lighting of the section along the market town of S433 Provincial Road after the completion of the lighting project in November 2024.

Previously, some people reported to the town government staff that there was a lack of lighting facilities near the S433 Provincial Road and other sections, which brought inconvenience to passing vehicles and pedestrians, and also posed serious safety hazards. In this regard, the Party Committee and the government of Xiangshan Town attached great importance to it, and immediately conducted research and investigation, studied and formulated solutions according to the actual situation of each village, strictly controlled the quality and construction standards of street lamps, promoted the construction of street lamp lighting projects in the market town to accelerate the implementation, and promptly solved the urgent problems of the people.

So far, the project has been successfully completed and put into use. A total of 475 solar street lamps have been installed at the expressway intersection, the section along the S433 provincial road in the market town, the section connecting Baichang Village and the market town, and the vicinity of primary and secondary schools, where villagers must pass through and where night activities gather. It benefits the market town and the four villages and groups nearby Fenggang Village, Baichang Village, Jianshang Village, Lintou Village, and more than 7,000 people, providing convenience and strong safety guarantees for the surrounding people to travel at night.
