New LED street lights installed in Kaiping City, Jiangmen, Guangdong

Street lights, as an important part of urban infrastructure, play an important role in beautifying the environment and safe travel. Fuqiang Road in Kaiping City, Jiangmen, Guangdong Province was built a long time ago. With the development of the city, the traffic volume on this section of road has been increasing. The nighttime lighting brightness near the roundabout is insufficient, causing inconvenience to the people who pass by at night.

In order to achieve "the people have something to say, I have something to respond to", the Kaiping City Urban Management Bureau immediately organized the technical staff of the Municipal Garden Service Center to conduct on-site inspections, study the plan to further improve the lighting brightness of this section of the road, and add spotlights to the Fuqiang Road roundabout to improve the visibility of the roundabout and reduce the occurrence of traffic accidents. In the case of tight funds, priority was given to arranging funds to install three 150-watt LED lamps on the original street light poles on the east side of the Fuqiang Road roundabout. At the same time, street lights are installed on the road connecting Fuqiang Road and Xinjing Road. A 12-meter double-headed street light (120-watt LED light source) is installed on both sides of the west intersection of the roundabout to illuminate the Fuqiang Road roundabout. The concrete foundation of the street lights has been completed and the installation of street lights will be completed in the near future. The installation of street lights not only increases the safety factor of night driving around Fuqiang Road, but also greatly beautifies and brightens the environment of this section of road, illuminating the "happy road" for residents to travel.

In order to ensure the safe and effective operation of urban lighting facilities and the safety of citizens' travel, the Municipal Garden Service Center of the Urban Management Bureau will continue to focus on people's livelihood needs, strengthen the inspection, maintenance and upgrading of urban street lights and ancillary facilities, create a safe and bright night travel environment for citizens, and truly "do practical things and solve people's worries" and be a "caring person" for the citizens.
